Kemana is a travel website for all and sundry; about where to go, shop, eat and stay.

It is an offshoot of the print where2 magazine that brought much joy to the editorial team for over a decade until the Covid-19 pandemic swept in like a tsunami.

This online travel portal is not a mirror of the print nor an act of morphing from print to the web. It stands out as a new entity that is what it is because of the desire borne out of a passion to publish and a journalist’s penchant to write and share all that will help to inform.

We file and curate travel tips and information, cutting out fluff and filtering articles for newsy bite-size data that matter to save your time .

The name ‘ke mana’ is a Malay language word for ‘go to’ widely spoken in the larger Nusantara archipelago that covers much of Southeast Asia.
